We wanted to let you know about a new option we’ve added—our Lite version of Homeschool Grades.

Since you’re currently using the full version, nothing is changing with your account or features. You’ll continue to have access to everything you’re using today.

The Lite version is simply a more streamlined, lower-cost option designed for families who may not need all the features included in the full version. We’re offering it to make the platform more flexible for different needs.

Of course, if you’re happy with your current setup, there’s nothing you need to do.

You can now assign different weights to assignments, quizzes, tests, and more—giving you more accurate and flexible grade calculations.

📈 GPA Performance Charts

Get a clear visual of student progress with our new GPA performance graphs right on your dashboard. Quickly spot trends, improvements, and areas that may need attention.

What you can do:

• Customize grade categories and assign weights
• Automatically calculate more accurate final grades
• View GPA trends with easy-to-read charts on your dashboard

To get started, head over to your Settings page to enable Weighted Grading, and check out the new charts on your dashboard.

🧩 Customizable Dashboard Widgets

Make your dashboard your own! You can now turn widgets on or off to focus on the information that matters most to you.

🍎 Sign in with Apple

Logging in is now faster and more secure with Apple Login support.

🔢 Show grade percent next to letter grade

Displays the numeric percentage (e.g. A 95%) alongside the letter grade on the transcript.

Fixed issues with Students being logged out ever 4 hours from student portal. Now its set for 90 days no auto logout.

✅ Students Can Check Off Their Own Chores!

Students can now check off their own chores, helping build responsibility 🏡 and making it easier than ever to stay organized 📋.

⚡ Quick Start: You can even import chores to get started fast—no need to set everything up from scratch!

• New Recommended Books section on the Parent Dashboard based on your student’s grade level (updated weekly).

• Enhanced reporting with top activities and stats across all students.
• Total hours are now displayed at the bottom of each student’s activity list (when hours are tracked).

Here’s what’s new: 📌 Category Field for Tests & Assignments

You can now assign a Category to each test or assignment, helping you stay organized and filter content more efficiently.

🔁 Recurring Lessons + Auto-Linked Tests

Lesson planning just got a big upgrade! You can now:

Create recurring lessons in your lesson plans and it will Automatically generate and link tests to those lessons (Keep in mind Recurring lessons are auto-created on the calendar up to 4 weeks ahead each time you visit the Lesson Planner)

This means no more entering the same information twice—set it once in your lesson plan, and everything connects seamlessly.

🎨 Custom Subject Colors

Add some color to your workflow! You can now assign custom colors to subjects, making it easier to quickly identify and organize everything at a glance.

These updates are all about simplifying your workflow and giving you more control over how you organize your teaching.

Coming Soon our very own Android App 📱

We’re excited to share several new features that have recently been added to the Homeschool Gradebook to help make managing your homeschool even easier.

New Features

1. State Compliance Tracker You can now see whether your homeschool records are aligned with your state’s regulations, helping you stay organized and prepared.

2. Notes Field for Subjects A new Notes field has been added when creating a new subject. This allows you to add helpful details, reminders, or curriculum notes for each subject.

3. U.S. Holidays in Attendance & Lesson Planner Both the Attendance and Lesson Planner now display U.S. holidays automatically. If you prefer not to see them, you can easily turn this off in your My Account page under Holiday Preferences.

4. New Flashcards Feature We’ve added a Flashcards tool to the Homeschool Gradebook. You can create flashcards for your students to help them study for tests or practice learning any topic you choose.
